There are several reasons why a heart that is reported as found is not featured on the IFAQH web site.
Hearts are gifted to someone or left on personal/private property.
Examples: front porch, vehicle, door, bicycle, mailbox, gate, personal little libraries, hotel rooms, work desk, break room, office, bathroom, restaurant table, etc.
The tag/heart has added words or phrases.
Extra words/instructions on the front and/or back of the tag/heart are not permitted. Examples of hearts that have been deleted because they added to the tag: you are loved, take me home, Jesus loves you, I was made for you, report me as found, please post to the FB page, made with love, please log this find, have a great day, remember you are special, please find me a home, if you found me I’m yours, have a wonderful day, smile, please post where found, you can keep me, keep or re-hide, tag made by **, have an awesome hike, take me home, this heart needs a home, tell your story, please post to the FB page, take a picture of the front side, in memory of **, this heart is yours to keep, report me as found, keep me, log your find, you are loved, etc. Also scripture references, numbers, initials, cities, names, logos, images, words, etc. are not permitted.
The tag/heart has added words or symbols.
Examples: a cross, awareness ribbon, embroidered words, charms/buttons/tags with words such as handmade, love, smile, dream, hope, you are loved, joy, inspire, family, made for you, name of state, etc.

It is unpleasant for us to tell an enthusiastic heart finder that their heart won’t be posted to the web site because the heart creator did not follow the rules. And the rules are so simple!
The tag should be plain text (no images) and contain only the following:
I Need A Home (Required)
www.ifaqh.com (Required)
I Found A Quilted Heart (Required)
#IFAQH
FB Logo
Nothing else. At all.

Below are examples of additional words, phrases, numbers, symbols, etc. added to hearts.
These hearts were reported as found, but not added to the web site. Communicating with these finders, and parsing through these is time consuming for the three sisters. We ask that all participants honor our rules when participating in this project, and refrain from adding anything to the labels.
