The stream was loaded with chum salmon. Most had already spawned and their carcasses were being picked over by seagulls. Next, l wanted to look for oysters. I made my way downstream to the beach on Hood Canal. And there it was, in a bush, right at the confluence. I took a picture and sent it to my wife. I asked if I should take it. I was still focused on salmon and shellfish and moved on. Later, I checked my messages and saw that I was supposed to have the heart. My wife sent me the link to IFAQH. It was still there. Now I have it.
