I found this heart hanging on a fence at Brandi Fenton Park while at my son’s soccer practice. I didn’t pick it up, but I’m not sure why. At the next practice it was still hanging there, so I figured it must be meant for me! It’s been a difficult start to the year. My mom got very sick and died a month ago. I’m taking this as a sign from the universe that even amidst the deepest grief, there are still moments of beauty and joy to be found in this world.
