Terry Fox Monument, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada

My true love and I were on our first vacation together in Northwestern Ontario. On one of our first stops in Thunder Bay, Ontario at the Terry Fox Monument while taking pictures we noticed a hand quilted heart hanging on the fence(we both thought at first that someone had lost a mask and someone had hung it up incase the owner came back for it so we didn’t investigate immediately and it continued to hang there for sometime before we checked it out). As we got closer and upon further inspection we realized it was a quilted heart with a tag, which we read and immediately looked up. We immediately knew it was meant for us, to symbolize our love, commitment and to know we are headed in the right direction in life and our future. I mean anyone of the numerous people could of seen it and picked it up but not one person seemed to notice or care what it was! The meaning of the heart and us finding it together has definitely touched our hearts and souls. It may seem like a small deal to anyone else but it has significant meaning to us. We are not only touched by the sediment of someone’s kindness and generosity but the meaning the heart has to us as a couple as we head into our future together.
