On Wednesday, April 12th on the way home from school, my Mom and I walked by the Monteverde Store Museum and saw the heart hanging on the bench outside. My mom noticed it and asked me what it was. I read the label that said “I need a Home” and said I wanted to take it home. We got home and looked up the website. I filled out the form and started to type my story.
I am Eight years old, and go to the Primary School here in Sutter Creek. The heart means a lot to me. Especially after what my family has been through over the past few years. It filled my heart when I found the Heart waiting for me. I will take care of it for all my life. It will now be a family heirloom forever. As a symbol of kindness and sweetness. I will put it somewhere safe, but where people can still see it clearly. It is very special to me and I love to see that there is still kindness and love in the world. It gives me hope for the future of our world. Written by- Lillian B
