My mom passed away very unexpectedly this past summer, and the ensuing grief has been relentless and unforgiving. Today I found this heart while out on a run, and the bit of joy it brought helped calm my aching soul. I have endless gratitude for whoever placed this heart on the new Yahara trail for me to find on a particularly difficult day. There are still beautiful people in this world!!
