Today is my 68th birthday and I went hiking in a somewhat remote California Canyon. I have been collecting pictures of hearts for a friend with cancer so imagine my delight when I found a beautiful white heart that I photographed. On closer inspection, I saw it was the back of a quilted heart that I was invited to take home with me! I will deliver it to my friend tomorrow in person. What a lovely gift to me and her.
