I live in Central Oregon. I had just retired from my job and my husband took me to the Oregon coast for a few days to celebrate my retirement. I admit that on the way home I was feeling a big melancholy about how I was going to maneuver my life as a retired senior citizen after working all my adult life. We stopped to grab a drink and let our dog run when I saw this heart hanging on a little bush right in front of where we parked our truck. I took it as a sweet and encouraging sign to stay positive!
