I own a sewing studio and sometimes have Girl Scout troops make quilted hearts to “sow” in public places. This morning I was riding my bicycle at a local park and something in the tree caught my eye. I could not believe my eyes! I found a quilted heart! It had been there, I could tell, through the storms we had a couple of nights ago, as it was wound around the branch and took me a minute to free it. It did not have a tag on it, but it did not need to. I knew exactly where to post the picture! It brought a tear to my eye because since opening my studio I have been under some stress as a new business owner. Finding this heart just made me realize how important it is to continue my efforts to teach sewing because it spreads joy. I feel blessed to be the person to find this beautiful heart.
