I was walking at Minnie Ha Ha Park along the Meramec River with my mom and her dog when I saw the heart hanging on some downed branches. I walked over to read what it said thinking it was a memorial heart of some kind when I saw the tag stating ‘I Need A Home’. I took it off the branch and my mom looked back and asked me “What are you doing? Why are you taking that?”. I showed her the heart and the tag and said “It needs a home. I’m giving it one.” So now the heart is home with me and proudly displayed. It was a nice little surprise!
