I just got news today that an old dear friend is in hospice. When I went for my daily walk, I found this heart in a ziplock on a treebranch. The sidewalk is a well traveled one so I guess the heart was meant for me to find. Whoever made it, I appreciate the random act of kindness that eased my day a bit. Also, my wife collects gnomes and this heart is made of gnomes…obviously it was truly meant for us. It will live with the other hearts on her heart wreath.
