It was a very special gift to find this quilted heart when my son’s father, Eric, and I were on a walk through the trails near the South Shore beaches. We were up on the cliff side looking for a way down to the water when I noticed a pretty-patterned something hanging in a tree.
I was already happy to have found something so beautiful, then upon reading the message I became even more touched at the thoughtful act and message of love.
Me and Eric’s only son was killed three years ago in a bike accident at 21 years old, on 9/11/20 – his sister’s birthday. He used to LOVE being in nature and climbing and hanging from trees. His aspiration was to become an arborist. And we used to always take nature and beach walks, especially in that area because his home was on South Shore❣️
Part of my grieving process had me hanging his memorial tag in trees in areas he visited.
So to find this heart, and hanging from a tree at that, near to the anniversary of his crossing over, his father and I together, in that particular location, has Leric Taiahno Winston Sinclair Lightbourn’s spiritual signature all over it🥰.
Of course he guided us there! He always always always finds successful ways to let us know he loves us and is always with us. So thank you to who left it – it could never have happened without you, your selflessness, thoughtfulness, big heart and cooperation👏🏾 with the Universe.
