I was travelling home from a trip up north to Duluth, MN. I’m always looking for nature areas to explore for birding and stumbled upon the Douglas County Wildlife Area trailhead with an informational sign. In the box meant for maps and brochures was this heart. I’d never even heard of this quilt project before even though I had done some quilting 40 years ago. What a delightful find! It made me think of my late husband who was my hiking partner and greatly enjoyed the outdoors too. Thank you for sharing some sunshine in my day. #getbusyliving
