My kids had a 12-day Spring Break and we excitedly ran out of the house on Day 2 – the first sunny day in Chicago in what felt like forever – to hunt down fairies at the Emily Oaks Nature Center about an hour from our home. We found (most) of the 26 fairies and sped to the play area near the park. There were a ton of kids enjoying the sunny day, and I consider myself lucky to have passed around the dark side of a tree to find this beautiful quilted heart. Our girls have named it “Lucky,” and we are honored to have it live in our South Side home. Thank you to the maker of our Lucky Heart. We have a new idea to try with the Brownie troop!
