I found this quilted heart on a hike at Bartholomew’s Cobble in Sheffield Massachusetts. It’s funny now thinking about how I happened upon this heart. One of the first nice spring days and my boyfriend and I wanted to soak up the afternoon sun after we finished work. As we started on the hike, my boyfriend said he was gonna walk down the road for a bit instead of the trail because you have to pass over a few brambles at the entryway. At first I questioned him and didn’t really want to walk on the road, I just wanted to be on the trail from the beginning. However, we walked about 50 yards down the road and this heart was laying in the pebbles on the side of the road. If we hadn’t of taken this little detour, we wouldn’t have found this heart that put a smile on both of our faces. Thank you to whoever put this heart out for us! Small acts of random kindness.
