Sedona, AZ USA

My husband and I were staying in the beautiful Village of Oak Creek in Sedona, AZ, and just before flying back home to Waco, TX, we met up with our dear friends for one last meal together. We crossed the street from our resort to a fantastic spot called Dellepiane—famous for their burgers and empanadas (trust me, they live up to the hype!). The vibe was cozy, the food was mouthwatering, and our waitress was an absolute gem—fun, helpful, and full of great recommendations.

After our delicious send-off meal, we strolled out of the restaurant and wandered toward the nearby shops. That’s when my husband spotted something special hanging on a bush—a sweet little quilted heart! He quietly grabbed it and surprised me with it, and my heart melted right then and there. I’ve had it with me ever since: 2/10/2025 at exactly 11:14 a.m.

I’ve always loved finding painted rocks hidden for others to discover, but this little heart? It completely stole mine. What a lovely surprise and a beautiful way to carry a piece of Sedona home with me.
