My husband and I went to Saratoga Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary November 21-24. We were there for the Family Life’s Weekend to Remember for couples. On the last day of our stay, we decided to go for a little hike at the Old Gick Wildlife Preserve we had driven past no less than 10 different times those 4 days. When we stopped at the little wooden map structure, we saw the small quilted heart affixed to the map. It caught our attention immediately because of the picture on the quilt. My mother is in love with the “woodsy” deer, bear & moose theme of Upstate NY Adirondacks. I knew she’d love to have the quilt heart to hang in her living room. I carried the small heart in my pocket during our beautiful hike. My Mom absolutely loves the quilted heart! She has it proudly hanging on her deer shelf.
