On August 24, 2024, I strolled up to a fence at Pleasure Point to observe the surfers below. I glanced at a nearby bush, then looked closer to behold a cute quilted heart with the note, “I need a home.” I was boarding the Coast Starlight train the next day to visit an ailing family member in Washington. I figured I’d win over a runaway heiress between cars as I pressed the heart into her trembling hands. No such luck, but I returned from that adventure and gave the heart to my 8-yr-old grand daughter for fun. We planted it on a low wall in Novato and sat in the car spying but no one took it. Great delight tho! Now she has it and is considering another romp to pass it on. Thank you for your service to art and for hours and days of good clean fun!!
