This past weekend I was helping my husband, who is an amateur photographer, with a model photoshoot in Golden Gate Park. It was Mother’s Day weekend, so the park was super busy and many of the popular locations for photos were crowded with people enjoying the beautiful weather and lush scenery. While my husband and the model were taking some photos near the lily pond I walked up one of the dirt trails that were off the beaten path to scout for additional photoshoot locations. That’s when I caught a glimpse of something bright and colorful hanging in the bushes bordering the trail – this beautiful quilted heart had found me! A small act of kindness, but it put a big smile on my face for the rest of the day, and the pretty, colorful flower design will be a memento of the gorgeous spring day we spent amongst the trees and flowers of the park. Thank you, anonymous quilter!
