I am a student at Wartburg College and a member of the Wartburg Choir. This year was our International Tour and part of the tour was spent in Austria. One of those days we were in Salzburg, Austria visiting the set where The Sound of Music was filmed. There were gardens and trees lining the paths everywhere and on one of those trees, I came across this quilted heart. I read the description on the back of the heart and did as it asked. I gave it a home. This was quite the find for me, and honestly it was something I didn’t realize I needed at the time. As fun as tour was, I was struggling mentally, and finding this heart felt like a sign and made me feel better. This quilted heart was found all the way in Austria and has traveled all the way back to my college with me. I’m very excited to be sharing my story, and I would like to thank whoever started this program.
