When I was 7 I was diagnosed with leukemia. I was in the hospital for 2 years doing treatment. I am now 15 and I have been in remission from cancer for 2 years now. I am on my way to Duke University Hospital for a check up. As i was walking back to the car from the bathroom at the rest area i was talking to my mom and i stopped because something caught my eye. i looked over at a little tree and there was a beautiful little heart hanging on a limb. I grabbed it and walked back to the car. I was having a stressful morning having to drive 6 hours from my home to duke. the heart i found made me smile and i started reading about it when i got back to the car and it made my day so much better. thank you, to whoever put the heart on that tree.
