I have had a rough couple of weeks looking for a larger place to live, working longer hours and dealing with my youngest child being in the hospital. Today was their first full day home. Along with that I had a dentist appointment, which was scheduled for a different time than what my referral stated. So I ended up going there twice. I never ride in the passenger seat, I am always the one driving. I had my friend come with me so she could drive me home after getting a tooth extracted. As we were leaving the parking lot there was an abundance of traffic. I was looking around and noticed the heart hanging in the tree. I hesitated 3 times to take off my seatbelt before I got out to look at it. Then I hesitated a couple more times of whether I should take it or not. I NEED A HOME! is clearly written on it. I thought so do I. I took the heart as it was meant just for me to notice, a sign of better things to come. This has brightened my day and I will carry with me wherever I go. I appreciate the little things in life, that can make a huge difference in a person’s life.
I am grateful to whom ever took their time to grace me with their random act of kindness that led me here.
With love and gratitude,
Johanna G.
