On Monday April 29, 2024 I had some errands to do, going to Walmart was last. As I was returning my cart I notice something in one of the other carts. I thought trash at first and started walking back to the car but a gut feeling made me take a closer look. I saw the tag “I need a home”. I rushed to the car and started looking up the website. I thought about putting it back for someone else to find. But I started thinking I was meant to find it at that moment, timing is everything. I’ve had several difficult months with grief. December we had to say goodbye to our senior dog Bella. In February my father passed away which has left this feeling of emptiness and I didn’t do enough while I was taking care of him. Two weeks ago I unexpectedly had to say goodbye to one of my cats due to an aggressive tumor in his mouth. I’ve had so much heartache, this beautiful quilted heart brought me some much needed joy. I like to think it’s a sign from my dad. Thank you so much for leaving this heart for me to find. I appreciate it and your kindness.
