We are on vacation and went hiking today. So beautiful! Returning to our car, our son spotted the heart. I was so touched, since I have been grieving the loss of a dear friend this week. She and I used to share quilting fabrics and patterns together, so finding a quilted heart was like a sweet kiss from God saying He sees and He cares. I brought the heart home and will cherish this reminder of a stranger’s random kindness in this hard time but also beautiful day of enjoying the stunning beauty of Nova Scotia’s rocky coast.
