I was shopping at WinCo right before Thanksgiving and found this adorable quilted heart draped on one of the distilled water jugs! It was so cute, I was thrilled that I got to keep it! It touched my heart as I was having a hard time. Thanksgiving is a holiday I always look forward to but it also marks what we call my father-in-law’s “angel-versary”. He passed away in a car accident 6 years ago and it just adds a touch of sadness and longing to the holiday. To know that someone was out there making beautiful gifts to brighten someone’s day meant a lot to me at that time! Thank you to whomever made this heart for us! It is now part of our Thanksgiving decor and a story my kids like to hear again and again.
