January 22, 2024, I went shopping with my girlfriend on the Southside in the City of Pittsburgh. We needed god’s medicine, so she went into Hello Mood and I went to the car. I noticed something hanging on a bush, it looked like a Heart! I sat there for a minute or two wondering if I should walk over and take a closer look. Before we could drive-off I grabbed the quilted heart. I read the message and instantly, I started to smile and feel warm all over. After getting home I looked up IFAQH website and knew that I must keep this project going! I created 4 Quilted Hearts from my son’s ripped up American Eagle jeans. I quilted, decorated and embellished them. I also made a Facebook post sharing my heart for my friends to see! I plan on placing the Hearts that I created throughout my travels over the next few months. I already started on making some more quilted hearts with my grandson’s footprint on the fabric. I want to make sure my love and signature of future love for the receiver is embedded in each Heart I create!
I placed my Quilted Heart on my coat, so I have a constant reminder of the blessing that I found!
