As I was walking to Killian’s Hardware Store, in Chestnut Hill, I noticed a small heart hanging on some flowers. I thought “That’s lovely,” but I did not stop to inspect it. The hardware store was not yet open when I got there. I went across the street, to sit on a bench to wait a few moments until they opened their door for business. I looked over my right shoulder and found this heart.
