Found at Women’s Cancer Center at Stanford.
I am 32 years old and a 3x breast cancer survivor. I had my original diagnosis January 2022 then had a recurrence October 2022 and again on July 2023. Currently awaiting radiation to begin. Although my appointments are usually nerve wrecking, I always take some time before walking into the Cancer Center to look at the succulents that line the sidewalk. On August 24, I was walking to my appointment and enjoying the succulents along the way. I stopped immediately because noticed a quilted heart hanging from one of the plants. I was so intrigued I went right up to it and saw the tag and looked it up. It brought me so much joy and I was so excited I found it. Thank you for brightening up my day. I also found the butterfly button to be very comforting because the butterfly symbol means a lot to me. Definitely feel like it was meant for me. I showed my daughter the heart when I got home and she loved it so much. Thank you to all the volunteers for making something so special for us to be a part of.
