Ottawa, ON Canada

It was around 8:30/9:30 am, when I was walking the fur baby, Tinkerbell, my very energetic 2 1/2 year-old Border Collie.

Now for context, I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 25 years. I feel like I have memorized every street, pathway and walkways in a 10 mile radius.

It normally goes smoothly most mornings but today, she got the zoomies or some form of excited dog syndrome hehe. After a few frustrating and sweaty minutes, I decided it was time to go home, taking a short cut down a pathway.

Something compelled me to walk down the pathway. As I reached the end of the short path, the sun was shining through the clearing, where I noticed a hanging heart from a tree.

I walk this path atleast twice a day, so when I notice something new or out of place, naturally, investigate.

This time it paid off. It really made my whole day. Thank you.
