My name is AnnMarie and I found this quilted heart in Oneonta New York at Neahwa Park! I was meeting my sister-in-law and my niece to play for the afternoon! I had a pretty tough week with some frustrating and unfair medical news that I had received earlier in the week. My sisters death date anniversary is also coming up on May 8th, so I am feeling quite down about that as well. Just before leaving the pavilion to head to the playground, I noticed this heart hanging up in a plastic bag tacked to the support beam. I thought it was absolutely beautiful but was also unsure of that this heart was! After doing some research and seeing what these are meant for, I knew it was meant for me to find! This is such an incredible and amazing project that is going around & it is exactly what this world needs! I was originally going to leave the heart as I didn’t know what it was! But I am beyond thankful that it was found and it was meant for me to take it home to cherish! I am beyond thankful to have found this beauty and beyond thankful that I found it after the week that I have had! It was exactly what my soul needed! ♥️ So, thank you to all of those who make these; and a special thank you to the one that made this particular heart for me to find!
