I live on the island of Oahu, in Hawaii. But I live on the west coast. I have a bucket list of things I still want to do on the island even though I’ve lived here for nearly 7 years. One of them was to climb Diamond Mountain. I had an opportunity to go do that today, and even though I was going all by myself, I prayed that God would provide companions and show me/help me to see His love, favor and blessings today. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and started the hike. At one point I had to stop to relieve my bladder, and hid behind a structure to do so. I almost missed the heart that was hanging off a nearby grass just below eye level but above ground level. I saw the “I need a home” and took it with gratitude. Every year we have a tradition to add a new, unique and special ornament to our Christmas tree. And even though it’s already December 10, I still had yet to find one that meant something special to me. But now I have one! Thank you 🙂
