We had been hiking the Chalk Pond Trail into Newbury Harbor
on 8/5/23. We came to a road crossing, we were tired, it was starting
to rain. We weren’t sure that our maps were pointing us in the right
direction & then we saw at first one, but then a 2nd heart in
a low branch of a tree. It was so uplifting to know that someone
placed those hearts for us to find. We immediately felt connected
to that place & comforted to know that someone genuinely cared
about strangers traveling through.
