This was the forth Quilted Heart found by my family on New Year’s Day!
Having bumped into three hearts already, we drove up the road around the corner from our house, and BAM! I called it out “Stop the car.” A quilted Heart had been left just four houses away from our own. I got out of the vehicle, and in the driveway just next to the tree in the side curb was a family. This Quilted Heart was quite tangled in the tree branch, and my prolonged apparent vandalism of his neighbor’s tree by the sidewalk made the the Father of that family curious. He very directly asked “what are you doing?”. I went over and showed him my prize, then showed him the still attached tag, and explained what this Quilted Heart thing was all about. How the heart is intended for the first person who notices it, and that it becomes yours to enjoy the craft-work, love and care that was put into making it. I then returned to the car, and especially enjoyed shaking the jingle bells on the heart all the way to and from our destination, like a little kid.
