I’ve been reading a lot lately to escape from my own thoughts and some stressful situations in my life. As I was browsing the stacks at the Edmondson Pike library nearby, a colorful item caught my eye resting on a shelf in the fiction section. It was a lovely quilted heart with a simple note attached! At first I was hesitant to pick it up, thinking someone must have accidentally left it, but as I thought about it, it seemed that it was a note of encouragement meant for me. Finding the heart was a “God smile” in my day!
