I found this little heart hanging from a flag pole in the beautiful little village where I live. It couldn’t have appeared at a more poignant time for me. I found it the day before I went into a final settlement meeting with my ex-husband after a long, awful divorce. I was feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and scared when I found this heart. It gave me hope, and I felt like it was a special sign. I took it with me in my purse to my settlement meeting the next day, and the meeting was a success! After 4 1/2 years we finally came to a fair and reasonable resolution, and I am finally free! It may have just been a coincidence, but I think things happen for a reason, and finding the quilted heart was a good luck charm right when I needed it. Thank you, quilted heart – you gave me strength and hope.
