I was on a 7 day Hawaii cruise when I found this quilted heart when entering the cruise terminal to go on a bus tour of Maui. There was a light rain and the heart and paper were soaked. The bright colors and patterns immediately caught my eye as I am a quilter and come from generations of quilters. I wonder how many people from the cruise ship passed over this? I am going to add a small decoration to the heart and when I visit the Vietnam Wall in Washington D.C. on father’s day I will place it at the base of the wall.
