We were visiting Maui to help with the fires at Lahaina and other areas. We went to the Maui Tropical Plantation to buy some mamaki tea at the Country Store. We walked around enjoying the scenery & decided to have lunch at their restaurant. Sitting outside I noticed something hanging from the succulents that were planted near out table -the Quilt Heart. After just having an estate sale & having to sell about 20 of my great-grandmothers hand-sewn quilts this was very touching. My Heart now lives with some Sonoma lavender hanging above my dresser where I see it everyday. This will remind me of how very kind everyone was on Maui. They will rise again! Many thanks to whomever left it that day!
