While traveling to Oklahoma to watch Sulphur High School football play in the state championship and cheer on our uncle who is a coach there my family of five stopped at a service center in the middle of nowhere Kansas for a bathroom break. My three year old made us stop to look at a statue in the middle of the Loves honoring a previous Notre Dame Football coach who had died in a plane crash near by. Our hear was resting right up next to the statue. Any other day I would have walked by and wouldn’t have noticed. But because she made me stop and look we saw this special heart. It made me wonder how many people had walked by and missed it and how often we do that in life. What a great reminder to slow down and take in everything!
