My name is Beck and I am from Gloucestershire – UK.
I was back in New Zealand for the first time in 30 years. It was my second visit to Matamata on this trip, we wanted to go back to a cafe called EAT as the pies and coffee were so good.
As we were walking up the street I started to notice the quilted hearts placed on cafe tables – so I picked one up.
It made my day!
I wanted to find a Christmas decoration to bring home – so finding my heart was perfect. It sits proudly on the top of my homemade Christmas tree.
Every year it will come out and sit proudly on my tree and it will bring me back happy memories of Matamata and my time in New Zealand.
