I received the quilted heart in October. Dropping off my youngest at school he noticed it in the bushes and was quick to say “look mom a heart, it’s for you”. I responded with apprehension because I was unsure until I read it. He just kept confirming to me “take it, you deserve it mom”. Thinking about it now just bring tears to my eyes because my son is all of 5 years old, and little did he know I needed it. Seeing the heart quickly made me think of my mother (who has dementia) and how she walked me to school at that age. My mom use to sew and the trim reminded me of the scissors she used when cutting her patterns to sew. The colors are the perfect touch because her favorite color is navy blue. Having this heart gives me the sense of hope. That no matter what I am going through or what my mom is going through that God will always have us. Thank you to the person that shared this heart, it was definitely a message I needing to feel and hear. May God continue to bless you.
