We found a heart on August 6th, a day after arriving to Manitoulin Island, Ontario! We came to visit family and drove to Little Current to see the Haweaters festival and parade. We explored some hiking trails, and upon reaching this scenic overlook – we spotted a small quilted heart on a wooden bench. It was very special and exciting to have found it together. Whoever placed it definitely knows some very beautiful views of the Island, and gave us a warm welcome.
It took us some time to post our findings – as we had been without internet for some time! Thank you to the maker of this heart, we keep it in the car to remind us of this day and our trip. And the Canadian maple leaf pattern on the other side it a nice touch!
