My mom and I were on our way to get a second set of mammogram images of her right breast when I saw the heart hanging on a branch, I picked it up and put it in my pocket. During the consultation we find out she has a mass that needs to be removed, our hearts broke with the notice but between tears I put my hand in my pocket and felt the quilted heart there, it was like a reminder that everything it’s going to be ok and my mom will be out of this in no time!
