Madeley, WA Australia

My daughters and I found a quilted heart at a medical centre in Madeley, Western Australia.

We had been to the doctor that morning and were walking to the car when we spotted it gently placed on the frame of an internal window.

My daughter (aged 6) was scheduled to have surgery the next day, and we decided that finding the quilted heart was a positive omen. She chose to take the heart with her into hospital as a good luck charm.

It was a wonderful thing to find, and to share with my girls that someone had made and placed this heart purely to shine a light into someone else’s day.

A reminder that kindness and care for your fellow humans is alive and well.
