I was hiking with my 2 (31 & 33 years old) sons today at Providence Canyon State Park in Georgia better known as the Little Grand Canyon. We were coming up out of the trails and we saw a heart hanging on a branch. Me and my youngest son are from Ohio and we are here visiting my oldest who is here for some training at Fort Moore, he lives in San Diego. This was a much needed trip, the past few months have been rough to say the least. I had to put my cat down August 21, my mom passed away September 10. The day before her celebration of life I fell and broke my arm and needed to have surgery. My husband started to get sick and we found out he has a bad heart valve and need surgery to fix it. 10 days before Christmas I was sick with the flu and I passed out while I was going back to bed and I fell and fractured my orbital socket. I was lucky enough not to require surgery, right after Christmas I got a terrible sinus infection, I am still having issues. I have been so tired, not just mentally but physically, I feel like my soul is just so tired. I almost canceled this trip to come and see my son. But I had to remind myself that tomorrow isn’t promised and pushed myself to come down. I am very glad I did, spending time with my adult children and finding this heart(I collect things that are heart shaped) has proved that there is much love in this world and that people really do care. I am sorry for rambling, and I want to thank whoever put that heart on that branch today. I do believe things happen for a reason, I was meant to find this heart today, that is why I stopped to take so many pictures, and I had to stop and and rest so many times when we were hiking out so I could be there at the right time to find that heart. Thank you to whoever took the time to make this heart and put it in such an amazing place. I hope you had an amazing day today, I know I did.
