I think it was June 9, 2024 (so earlier this week) I found the heart on an evergreen bush lining a sidewalk, but behind a professional building (so not out on street). We walk there EVERY night for more than 2 years to feed a “neighborhood cat” we call Shamee (some would call her semi-feral). We had created so much trust with her she would eat with us on back steps of building. But something happened a week before, and she was so stressed she would no longer eat with us there. It was so disheartening. We had to put food under bush for her. That day we had just spent time with my cousins who lost their Mom (my cousin), had gone to the funeral 2 days before. AND the week before that, crazy speeding driver hopped curb at my driveway, crashed and smashed our houses front lawn, into two trees and did a lot of damage. Our house is caddy corner across street where Shamee hangs out. It was 1 minute and 46 seconds BEFORE the crash, I was standing in that exact spot, to cross street to feed Shamee the cat. So it was a very stressful few weeks.. and THEN I see this beautiful heart on the bush earlier this week and my husband and I are puzzled. What is this? How did it get here? So odd we thought. Then I take it, turn it over and see the message, and the URL for the website, I just knew, I was getting SUCH A LOVING message from the universe, to say thank you from Shamee the cat, and my departed cousin, and to hang in there. Saved by a cat. I held the heart, sat on the steps and got the cat food out, and cried and cried holding the heart. This quilted heart touched mine– profoundly. Thank you so much to whomever placed it, just what I needed, just when i needed it– truly. It bouyed my soul. Love to all.
