I’m in Lawrence, KS from Omaha, Nebraska. We’re in town for my daughters softball tournament. She had to be at the field at 7am, so I thought I’d take advantage of the cool temps this morning and walk at a nearby Rotary Club Arboretum. The morning was beautiful and I was walking, talking with God and listening for His gentle whisper. On my way out of the park, I saw something red in the tree…I had to have walked by that same tree on the way in, but didn’t see it at the time. When I stopped to look, I was intrigued by the “I need a home” tag, got online on my phone, and found this beautiful community. Thank you for reminding me that God listens, we just need to quiet our minds and listen!
