I found this quilted heart the day of my cousins funeral that I was unable to attend. He’s 17, same age as me. And has had cancer since we were in the 7th grade. We unfortunately were never able to have the closest relationship because of family issues but every so often we got to talk and see each other. I tried to tell him I love him for the last time when he was told he just had a few days to live with unfortunately no response. I feel like this was his final way of telling me goodbye and that he loves me too. Thank you to whoever made this because it was able to bring me peace with my cousin.
