I work with special needs adults in the community. We came to Addenbrooke park for lunch. I noticed something hanging from a tree but at first I paid it no attention. After eating I went to the garbage can to throw away my trash which happened to be right next to the heart. Out of curiosity I turned the heart and read, “I need a home”. That little sentence encouraged me to continue reading the little tag. The poor ribbon is shredded from the tree branches in the wind. This makes this heart just perfect to keep in my van. I talked with my special needs adults stating that it was meant to be found by us because it is not perfect due to the ribbon but still brought me joy just in reading about the Three Sisters. None of us are perfect but we can all bring joy to this world still. Thank you for touching OUR hearts and making us feel loved just by finding this little quilted heart.
