My husband and I were parking our car at Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, WI. We were there for an ultrasound of a spot found on my kidney. At this time I have lung cancer and am fighting it with everything I have. I had throat cancer 7 years ago and in August of 2022 I was diagnosed with lung cancer. I have had 35 radiation treatments and 3 chemo treatments for this. I am now doing immunotherapy for a full year. I was having a tough time on Friday, June 2nd thinking my cancer had now spread due to the new spot they saw on my kidney. We parked our car I got out and saw this heart! I was so excited as I knew about IFAQH. I took the heart off of the tree and explained to my husband the story. I took the heart with me into my ultrasound. As of now, the ultrasound cannot find ANY spots on my kidney! I will continue with treatments and have another CT Scan in July, but for now I can breathe a sigh of relief! I can’t believe I found my heart on such an important day! I truly believe that this is a sign from God that he is watching over me! Thank you to whoever made this heart. It means the world to me!
