I found this heart in the surgical waiting area of Kettering Hospital. I was there waiting for my mom, who was having a procedure to find out if she has cervical cancer. While we have reason to believe all will be well it’s always scary when you’re dealing with cancer, even just the possibility. Finding this heart was like finding a bit of peace in the worry. It just so happens to have purple and blue butterflies- my twin boys LOVE butterflies and these are their favorite colors. They are my mom’s pride and joy, her only grandkids, so that just makes this heart even more special. Thanks to the kind heart who left this for me to find. It made my day!
